Team Approach

Our team of professionals includes board-certified behavior analysts, speech language pathologists and occupational therapists. Working together, we provide a comprehensive range of services for children with autism and other developmental disabilities involving language delays, maximizing the benefits of your child’s treatment.

By far the most important members of our team are you, the parents. We involve parents in their child’s treatment plan and expect them to play a very active role in their child’s therapy.  No one knows the child better nor cares more about his welfare than do his parents and they are the ones most affected by his disorder.   Parents spend a great deal of time with their child and they are in the best position to carry over teaching goals into everyday living situations.  A lot of teaching can take place in the natural environment.  Bath time, dinner, getting dressed and feeding the family pet are just some of the everyday routines that offer opportunities for teaching. Outings to the park, grocery shopping, mailing a letter and visits to a relative’s home are other opportunities to generalize newly-learned skills and to work on improving behavior.

To help parents teach at home, the staff at Autism Early Intervention Clinics works with parents to develop program goals and procedures.  In addition, parents will be invited to observe our staff as they work with their child and our staff will be available to coach parents as they do the same.   In addition, staff members will conduct workshops on a regular basis to teach parents  about behavior analysis as it applies to children with special needs.

Autism Early Intervention Clinics is now accepting children and adolescents for treatment. Call today for more information or to schedule your appointment.
